Tutoring Services
Math Learning Center
The Math Learning Center offers free, one-on-one tutoring to any enrolled student regardless of major or academic standing.
For the Fall 2021 semester, tutoring will be offered both in-person and via Zoom.
The MLC will be closed on September 6 (Labor Day), September 23 (Founder’s Day), October 11 – 12 (Student Recess), and November 24 – 27 (Thanksgiving Break). The last day of tutoring is December 9 (Reading Day).
In-person tutoring:
The Math Learning Center is located on the third floor of the Fretwell Building. We will be offering free drop-in tutoring every Monday – Thursday from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm and on Fridays from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Our tutors are happy to help you with any mathematics or statistics class.
Online tutoring:
Free drop-in Zoom tutoring is be available Monday – Thursday from 11:00am – 7:00pm and on Fridays from 11:00am – 3:00pm.
University Center for Academic Excellence (UCAE)
The University Center for Academic Excellence offers both one-on-one (appointment only) tutoring and drop-in tutoring. The hours of its drop-in tutoring service and courses covered are here.

Private Tutoring
The department also maintains a list of private tutors, however, these private tutors are not regulated nor supervised by the math department. The math department does not assume any responsibility for what happens between a private tutor and a student.
